We had such a great experience at Cry Baby’s! The atmosphere was fun, lively, and had a really unique vibe that made it a great place to spend the evening. The food was delicious, everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. The cocktails were awesome, and super creative and taste great! What really stood out was the service. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and a super welcoming place. They made it a great experience for their guests. If you’re in Gainesville and looking for a spot with delicious food, killer drinks, and a fun atmosphere, Cry Baby’s is definitely worth checking out. We’ll absolutely be back!

i’ve been to crybaby’s so many times over the past year and half that i’ve lived in gainesville. it’s a cozy environment with friendly staff and great food/drinks! this night went a little differently than usual because an older man was making me and my friend uncomfortable. the staff noticed and asked him to give my friend a little space which we really appreciated because we didn’t want to cause a scene. this guy started going off about lesbians, the me too movement, etc. and started being disrespectful toward the staff who was being incredibly patient with him before he got kicked out. i always felt comfortable at crybaby’s, but the staff really showed me tonight that it’s a safe place for women. i didn’t get the staff member’s name but she was so amazing! she acted quickly and calmly in such a difficult situation and my friend and i are so grateful toward her <3

Went to Cry Baby's last night for a date night. It was my first time. I had no clue what to expect. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The Decor & Vibe was a throw back to the 70's. They absolutely nailed it down to the last detail. The music was great, the service was incredible, the food, let's talk about the food. Sidney, you're a Rock Star in the kitchen. The quality was fantastic, the detail of how it was put together, showed, pride and attention to detail. The flavor exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed every bite! Now onto the Tater Tots. I have been all over the country, I have eaten in pretty much every level of restaurants, cafe's & diner's. I have never had a Tater tot as good as last night. The texture & taste was World Class! We hired a car service to go downtown and it was worth our time, money & appetite to eat at Cry Baby's You owe it to your taste buds to go enjoy the place!

Had an amazing experience at Cry Baby’s thanks to Samuel! He recommended a couple of great drinks that were honestly spot on, and the smash burger was absolutely awesome. Super friendly service, great recommendations, and a really good atmosphere overall. Totally recommend asking for Samuel if you stop by!

i love cry baby’s! it’s my favourite bar in gainesville and i always make it a point to stop by whenever i’m in town. the drinks are great, the food is delicious (the tofu sub is an amazing vegetarian option!), and the staff are always super friendly. the vibe in the bar as a whole is always very fun & chill, and for a bar, it’s also very clean. highly recommend!
